Too little too late, resign. Bahamians, we must demand that our elder statesmen and stateswomen be appointed to the senate, not amateur rookies. It is insane that the senate is stacked with political wannabes.

Age does not come into this. You can be young and smart. We need young and smart politicians, Not someone because they are young.

The good Senator should not have been appointed.

I don't blame her.

I blame the persons who recommended her and appointed her.

Too little too late. Far as I can tell, her credibility is shot. Her explanation was of no substance or sense, which just means, like the village drunk, one can get away with saying what one really things, then backtrack.

But still a nice attempt at kissy kissy, which the FNM so desperately needs.

The first reaction showed her true feelings, but she can regret that, that's the definition of being sorry. What I dont get is when asked a few weeks ago if she had apologized, her response was "to who?". Then the "non-apology" apology, "IF" I offended you, not "I offended you". But anyway, the party didn't self destruct so we move on.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Monkee ... I'm not afraid of Perry Christie and his goons, I'd be pleased to serve the papers, no charge, as a public service.

the PM is always in Olives, Cable Beach - try serving him there. This article thrills me and I'm glad there is an attorney out there who is not afraid to do his job. Watching with interest....

Thank you Mr. Smith for holding our useless government to account! Jail them if they do not follow the law! They are criminals if they don't and they have done so many other criminal things to this country already.

The only people acting to the detriment of this country are Mr. Munroe and his moronic and sophmoric PLP government, who are all slaves to the Chinese and traitors to the sovereignty of the Bahamas.

Why wait in others such as the Christian Council? Get off your arse and start the movement yourself if you feel so strongly about it...that is why we get nowhere...we sit and wait on others instead of making the move.

Simple solution Rollins, simply make your BEC receipts of payment public and shame Brad. if you can't do this then you are only blowing hot air and you are becoming a well rehearsed politician who just tries to wiggle out of situations by slick talks.

People like John never fail to amaze me. They can be as intelligent as a lab rat, but they suddenly lose all sense of logic whenever there is a topic that touches their emotion. "It is an assault on the sovereignity of this nation " What an asinine statement. The duty of the forth estate, therefore, the news media, is to expose these types of underhand deals by governments that are supposed to be working for the people. But this shows me that Bahamians are the most ignorant breed of people on earth. They are so brainwashed by the man called Pindling that they still cannot get it their heads that they are the employer and the government is the employee. But whatever, the Bahamas has lost its sovereignty long time ago. Wake up!

Why are small amounts of marijuana for personal use even illegal? What a travesty of "free will" human dignity. When will we allow people to make their own choices and live their own lives?

Bout dangerous drug.....

Legalize weed now. It is a benign drug. Liquor is more dangerous. There is no such thing as being inebriated from weed.

Legalize this gift from God now.....

lkalikl 8 years, 8 months ago on Deputy PM accuses Tribune of 'shameful' smear campaign

These guys are whistle blowers in the Bahamian context. That's just how f$%^ing dirty our laundry is. There is every chance that another government is now involved in this and is giving the two criminals who have switched sides protection for having turned witness against the blatant corruption at the highest level in the Bahamas. Perhaps the depth to which the PLP had fallen into Chinese pockets has attracted attention from other powerful actors in the region. Finally!

Birdie, leave off with the deflection. Forget Bacon, the thugs, the murder claims etc etc. Peter Nygard has been recorded treating the Prime Minister of the Bahamas and his deputy like his very own house negroes. He is still here and still the PLP's best friend. What say you about that? Will you not call on your party to expel this man from the country?

@birdie-"Bullard and Davilma should go to jail." And I say, so should the entire PLP cabinet. Do not pass go, just go straight to jail. But alas, we being the most backward country in the entire region celebrate when our government pulls off stunts like these. I have a new respect for places like Haiti and Jamaica. Call them corrupt as much as you want. They would never let their government get away with this kind of mess.
