God willing he will remain in Politics for a long time. Its persons like him that we need in politics to take this country where it needs to be desperately. God Bless Mr. Moss!

The PLP blame the FNM for crime, now the PLP in power they have not done squat. Speak out Mr. Moss, speak out. Leslie Miller spoke out. You PLP's hate the facts that people speak out and then make statements this Moss last term. It might be his last with the PLP, but not his last in Government

asiseeit 8 years, 8 months ago on Vendors 'will not bow out on efforts to remain on Cabbage Beach'

First of all the headline is stupid because as far as I am aware nobody was saying the vendors where banned from the beach, they just did not want them using a certain access point which is private property. There is another access point farther down the beach that for some reason nobody wants to use. Now to BahamaPundit, you say "the law is the law", but we have a GOVERNMENT that is breaking the law daily and disregarding a lawful order by the supreme court I.E. Blackbeards Cay, so in this country that statement is taken with a grain of salt. When your leaders are corrupt and break their own laws the rule of law is thrown out the window. So is the law, really the law?

No easy answers, but there are some mistakes that you don't get to wipe the slate on. That's the price you pay for the choice you make.

Agreed.. we are all sympathetic to the daughter & believe in forgiveness but that has nothing to do with trust. U don't get to hold certain positions with a criminal record & that should be an objective standard across the board

Sure. Why watch porn in the privacy of your home when you can peek into a church building window at just the right time and perhaps catch a glimpse of the pastor having sex with someone?

The FNM did the right thing. It was the honorable and dignified thing to do. Dr Hubert Minnis deserves to be commended for displaying such leadership and decision-making skills. He was concise and decisive. I doubt that Perry and the PLP would have shown such class and professionalism.

ThisIsOurs 10 years, 4 months ago on Miller hits back at 'psycho' critics

From the details of an article in the Tribune last week, no one "dragged" Mr Miller's family into anything. His daughter of her own accord, wrote a Facebook post that was highly offensive to numerous Bahamians given the tone of the post and the inappropriate picture added to the post. That mess was instigated by her, no one else. At any point she could have deleted the post but she did not. Just as she was free to state what she thought of the situation every other Bahamian has the same right. We are not all Leslie Miiler's children. He is our government representative and our BEC chairman. We employ him, he has a job to do for us. We judge him on that. We appreciate his efforts to reign in an out of control union and reduce the cost of electricity, but we do not let him off the hook for the direct and illegal electrical hookup to his daughters business, his instruction to line staff to allow her to remain connected so that she could host a party or his failure to resolve a 200 thousand+ BEC bill.

ADubbs 10 years, 4 months ago on Vendors evicted at Straw Market

They need to learn to pay their bills! They have that beautiful building to operate from, very close to the cruise ships, and their rent is only $140 a month? WHAT MORE DO THEY WANT?! When you don't pay your rent, you get evicted. It's as simple as that. What the hell do they want anyone to do about the consequence for their failure to pay?
