Well next time, they should hire professionals to plan events like this. We do have companies in the Bahamas with the expertise to plan events like this. It does not take rocket science to plan big events, just expertise and proffessionalism.

The Bahamas has always been horrible at planning events. I suspect because only political cronies are hired to head up projects like this. Time to get the real professionals involved.

This was an embarrasment. These were not hiccups, these were dumb mistakes that could have easily been avoided with proper planning and implementation.

As far as I am aware we have heard nothing from the Police Commissioner concerning the investigation or the persons who distributed the photos of the mutilated body of Nellie Brown. I would be very interested in the particulars supporting this alleged crime because if the facts are that he is being charged for posting photos of the man that died in police custody then it would be a very sad day in our Bahamaland and I would be proud to stand with him in this matter. My fellow Bahamians our history and circumstance have not frequently acquainted us with the creed "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely" but if we continue to stand by while the civil liberties of our fellowmen are trampled upon it is only a matter of time before we are next.

I expect my government to now arrest the principal of Bahamas Press for posting child porn on his site! If our government does not then this case against Mr. Moncur is nothing more than victimization and harrassment by the hands of the Bahamas Government, justice is supposed to be blind....
