As I have said before, the government has absolutely no idea and does not care one iota about the effects of its greed inspired regulations on our Bahamas!

Honestman 7 years, 8 months ago on Nottage: Crime rates affecting perception of countries in region

Bernard Nottage lamented the impact that murder and crime rates are having on global perceptions of countries in the region.

Meanwhile the Bahamian public laments the negative impact the PLP is having on the country's economy and our hitherto peaceful existence. Five years of disastrous governance and this Prime Minister is going to ask you for another five years so that he and his party can inflict even more misery on you!!!!

The PLPs are desperate, mean, conniving, roguish and they act like they are entitled to be in charge of the government ......... This boorish behaviour will probably ramp up in the coming days ........ especially if the FNM rallies continue to outnumber the PLP in size, volume and enthusiasm

When the law treats law abiding citizens like criminals and criminals are treated like law abiding citizens. When you obey the law and the law brutalize and humiliate you. But this is somewhat expected now, 'porridge' runs down hill. There's pressure from the top because of recent statistics and outcry from the public on crime, these men are just foot soldiers, however very untrained and disrespectful it seems. The goal of our LEO's should be to get the general public on their side to help them with the war on crime, community service based policing works! One have to ask would they prefer to: Win the war and loose the battle or win the battle and loose the war, or loose BOTH the war and the battle? With this type of behavior, the latter can be predicted to be a certain outcome.

*Absolute foolishness on the police part!!! People wonder why the Bahamas' crime rate is so high. It's because even the police are thugs and criminals. No type of structure, respect for citizens nor law. How can they expect us to abide by the rules if they are so blatantly lawless and disgusting. No warrant, no badges, no respect, and excessive force. SMFT *

Peter and Marvin need to ask the question .......... Why does The Bahamas need 4000 police officers?????........... How many of the officers are up for retirement, already retired/ pensioned and still working, or rehired for political favours????? ........ Cleanup the mess first and then pay those who really deserve to be on active duty
