tireofthemiserablelife 11 years, 6 months ago on FNM leader calls for police action

why is there so much focus on shutting down the web shops, there are all kinds of illegal activities going on within the BAHAMAS and there is also the crime rate, no jobs, people having no place to live, some people still living without light, water and no food, but yet we are focus on shutting down the web shops, which employ people....we need to focus on the right thing and get are act together. Instaed of always seeing the wrong the Goverment is doing, why dont they (PLP/FNM) work together so we all can make the BAHAMAS a better place to live (but i guess thats asking to much)....and am sure Mr. Greenslade knows his job and dont need nobody telling him how the do it, (unlike some)

Thi is disgusting and sickening to say the least. Regardless of their financial state or mental condition a person should be allowed to die with dignity, and not have their bodies rot in a shipping container at the hands of government.."the true religion of a people is known by the way they care for their dead"

Philosopher_King 11 years, 6 months ago on New gambling bill 'favours foreigners'

1) I agree whole heartily with Wayne's position; this the utmost example of being hypocritical by Bahamians who claim to oppose gambling in the name of saving their fellow man from destruction if they aren’t as equally outraged at this bill.

2) I told all who would listen online and mobile gaming is coming globally. It is just whether we will have a real stake in the profits made from our shores or just wish to stand in long lines looking for jobs in the industry that will most likely go to foreign IT managers and online/mobile App developers..

3) Tribune please stop distorting the truth, because less than 30% of the eligible voters voted NO so it was not an overwhelming majority of Bahamians. Who really knows what most Bahamians think about the issue since they didn’t bother to show up.
