Withdraw our 17 year old application...and yes...get rid of all those businesses you mentioned. Or have you been trained to be a happy slave?
Maybe that's why the govt statistically scales a D average, so our youth are trained to think caca is chocolate ice cream.
All that glitters isn't gold.

We have tons of Islands , if the cruise lines don,t develop them they will stay dormat for the next thousand years .Its what we have to sell and get tax revenue from ,sun ,sand and sea .The cruise lines want to control the guest experience ..Can you blame them ,,Bay Street is basically dirty and loud where the tourist are harassed .The new straw market is already a loud ,"nasty" smelly place .The family Island I live on the down town is a dump ..some of the foundations , mostly winter resident run organize a clean up and within a month its strewn w beer bottles , Styrofoam food containers and numbers papers again ..I don,t blame the cruise lines ,,it is what it is

It is obvious to me that the hotels want the currency to be devalued...since they will then have an advantage over others by absorbing foreign currency directly.
Very devious, if true.

NIB has also built many other buildings for the Gov .... some of them are The Min of health complex on Delancy St, The new customs building and The Min of education building on Thompson Blvd, The sandilands Rehab new extension, The New NHI building on the east west highway, the police HG and dorms in Freeport, The new fire station in Freeport, The new Atorney Gen building on JFK and the next uncompleted building on the side of it, the list goes on.,

So sad ......... NIB has been abused by politicians ever since it was setup ...... It really became a slush fund in the past 20 years to build low cost homes, build clinics, build public buildings and prop up failing corporations ........ Now that the baby boomers who have done all that damage to NIB is retiring, the X,Y and Millennials are up the creek for their pensions......... SMT

Morality in 2018
Again with this? Here's a little tip.
Stop messing around with other people's lives. If they want a place where they can enjoy themselves, fine. But Christians aren't willing to fight against the Bahamian Drug War, the same war that killed about 3,000 Bahamians for 30 years, ruined our government and society and created a narco-state within.
We're plagued with criminality and greed to support criminal syndicates around the globe, first the drugs and firearms were condoned and supported the Drug War initially, then the money laundering number boys were able to operate with near immunity. All of this is our diseased criminal mentality. Yet Bahamian Christians attack a harmless set of same-sex couples that doesn't even kill or harm others, and a good deal of them respect the laws of the land. What a pathetic outcome..

‘I can’t let my child walk home alone’
Again I ask the question, why is The Bahamas so lax? What is needed is a registry for sex offenders as well as continuous monitoring of pedophiles.
There needs to be a school bus system that picks and drops of students whose parents are unable to collect them from school. And an increase in safe after school activities for children whose parents work past 3pm.
We are supposedly so concerned about the "little darlings" yet we have very few measures in place to protect them. Smh
But hey, ya'll got your red and yellow tshirts and free drinks at all the rallies. But never once do people ask the MP's what the plan is to help the community and the country overall.

Sands calls for nationwide HIV testing following report
@Joeblow and @Pastor_Cedric_Moss You both are missing the point. Dr. Sands is a health professional and his job is to keep Bahamians healthy. His job is not to fix your moral compass, that is the job of moral leaders. Trying to push an abstinence only message as a healthcare official is malpractice. You want to wade into speculation but he has to deal with the facts. The fact is Bahamians have sex. The fact is we have a high disease prevalence. The fact is there are evidence based methods to reduce disease incidence and prevalence. As a health professional his job is to act based on facts, not based on your perceived moral failings of our nation. Promoting safe sexual practices and creating a more educated public, creates a safer public. You can wage war for the soul of the Bahamas, his job is to ensure we are healthy. None of what you stated will stop people from having sex, and you are only proving all of the points he's made. It's time for us to be frank and honest with who we are as a people. From a medical perspective, he has no choice but to see the country as it is.

Mr. Coulson doesn't even care that he has nothing to say. He just wants to write and feel like someone is listening. I can not think of a worse project for The Bahamas. Many thinking individuals have expressed the same. Coulson seems out of his depth in even considering the "demonic" aspects of this project. A waste of time reading his drivel.

Guessing you are not understanding the context of the comments made! The issue is not about single mothers, but low entry jobs and how increases in taxes would make it more difficult for some of them to find jobs. Sorry you missed that!
joeblow 6 years, 7 months ago on Prices overhaul in diet offensive
Prices overhaul in diet offensive
It is important to recognize that most young people do not know the value of education, that is why they fail to take advantage of the opportunities they are given. They are enamored with other things. Additionally, post high school education has to be on a foundation of a high school education first! Most young women appreciate the value of an education more AFTER they have children and see how difficult it is to get sensible employment. This is what accounts for the high levels of females in post high school vocational courses! The point is that without persons being interested in getting the education needed to make lives better for themselves in a country that gives them opportunity to do so must leave a segment of our society requiring entry level jobs in fast food etc.
Now concerning my "observation" regarding "most", try asking some of the young female cashiers (since they are mostly young females) in fast food places how many of the workers there are unmarried with children and reflect on their answers!
