Plea agreements bring high rate of convictions
THE Director of Public Prosecutions Office secured a high conviction rate of 85 percent in 2021 while its use of plea agreements recovered after COVID-19 caused disruption in 2020, according to Director of Public Prosecutions Garvin Gaskin.

Two bodies found as official toll reaches 69
POLICE in Abaco have recovered two bodies in the Mudd, bringing the official death toll from Hurricane Dorian to 69. In a statement, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said one body was found on November 8 and the other on November 14.
