CIBC’s New Year halt to in-branch payments
CIBC FirstCaribbean last night justified its decision to halt physical in-branch transactions from January 3 - a move that will impact thousands of Bahamians - by asserting that 85 percent of clients are already using digital banking channels.
The causes of crime
As A trained lawyer, albeit a defrocked one, I had extensive practice before the Criminal Defence Bar during my hey days. In fact, at any given time, I commanded 80 per cent or more of the most heinous cases before all courts, the Supreme and Magistrates included.
