THE New Providence Basketball Association continued its regular season action on Monday night at the AF Adderley Gymnasium with the College of the Bahamas Caribs and the PJ Stingers winning the double header. While the Caribs stunned the Double R Services Cleaners 81-63, the Stingers out-scored the Island Game Pros 101-95.
Marathon Bahamas winners in the spotlight
Despite the interruption of the rain, a pair of Americans - Jonathan Volpi and Amos Desjardins - emerged as the overall male champions of the 7th annual Sunshine Insurance Marathon Bahamas full marathon and half marathon at Arawak Cay yesterday. The women champions were Frenchwoman Marina Peron and Bahamian Vanessa Forbes.
