I thought Bimini was Genting’s second location choice after they weren’t successful in getting the OK to build a huge luxury resort casino in downtown Miami. It was disappointing at first. I think that because Genting introduced the Superfast for a quick ride to the island, they created a big plus for local gamblers like me and local business people on Bimini. So far, the company has stated that they will protect the local environment. It's in their interest to keep Bimini pristine and beautiful. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.
