Sir Cecil Wallace-Whitfield: Founder of the FNM. Leader of the political movement in 1970, when eight Parliamentary members left the PLP and became known as "The Dissident Eight". These men formed the Free-PLP but subsequently changed the party's name to the Free National Movement (FNM) later that year.
