Man shot dead in motel

A MAN was shot to death in a motel after a row and another man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in a nightclub.

Around 4am on Sunday police received information that a man had been murdered, shot in a motel in Sandy Point, Abaco.

The victim, identified as 26-year-old Gregory Green of Marsh Harbour, Abaco, was in an argument with a group of men at the motel when he was shot, said police.

Green was transported to a clinic in Abaco by a private car where he later died of his injuries and was pronounced dead by a doctor at around 10am on Sunday.

In a separate attack a man was in critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in a nightclub in Grand Bahama early yesterday morning.

While police have yet to release his identity, he was said to have been involved in a row at a night club along East Sunrise Highway at around 3am and was repeatedly stabbed.

He was transported to Rand Memorial Hospital by a private vehicle and was last night listed as critical.
