FREEPORT - A 43-year-old Freeport man was convicted in the Magistrate's court Thursday of shopbreaking and stealing.
Valentino Redwin Kemp, of Pioneers Way, appeared in Court Two before Magistrate Andrew Forbes on one count of stealing and shopbreaking.
Kemp is accused of breaking into the Water Depot and Mini Mart on East Beach Drive sometime between 9.30am on June 25 and 6.30pm on June 26 and stealing items valued at $2,400.
Kemp pleaded guilty to the charges. He was sentenced to 14 months at Her Majesty's Prison, New Providence.
