A MAN was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison yesterday after being charged in Magistrate’s Court in connection with two murders, one dating back to 2011.

Patrickedo Rose, 22, appeared before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez yesterday facing two charges of murder and a single charge of attempted armed robbery.

It is claimed that on October 22, 2011, he intentionally caused the death of 28-year-old Stephen Davis.

Davis was killed following an altercation with another man around 3am.

It is further claimed that between May 25 and 26 of last year, Rose murdered 39-year-old Olsworth Belle, who died in hospital a day after he shot following a failed robbery on Joe Farrington Road.

Rose was not required to enter a plea to any of the charges.

He was told that on May 7, when he reappears in Magistrate’s Court, he is to be served with a Voluntary Bill of Indictment, fast-tracking his case to the Supreme Court for trial.
