A 39-year old man is in custody assisting police after a man was stabbed to death last night.
According to reports, around 6:30pm, a 25-year old male was involved in an argument with another male at Lightbourne Street, Yellow Elder Gardens, when he was stabbed in the lower back and head.
The victim was transported to hospital via private vehicle where he later succumbed to his injuries. The suspect was later arrested and is assisting police with investigations into this matter.
