An armed robbery suspect is in hospital in serious condition after being shot by police.
Shortly after 4pm this afternoon, a man is believed to have held up and robbed a food store in the Coconut Grove area before fleeing on foot.
Police on patrol confronted a suspect, resulting in him being shot. Police also recovered a shotgun.
The suspect is under police guard in hospital.
