Traffic victim identified

A recent victim of an Eleuthera traffic accident has been identified as 28-year-old Pachino Simmons, of Governor’s Harbour.

According to police, Simmons was travelling south on Queens Highway in a red and white Honda ER 650 trail motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into the rear of a white 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV shortly after 6pm.

The SUV was driven by a 42-year-old man, according to reports which indicted that the boy was pronounced dead at the local clinic.

Simmons is the country’s sixth traffic fatality of the year.
