Four men sought for robberies

POLICE are asking for help in locating four men in connection with four separate armed robberies on Tuesday.

In the first incident, shortly after 7:30am police said a woman was walking on Stanford Drive, when a man armed with a handgun robbed her of her handbag containing cash and personal effects. The man then fled on foot.

About half an hour later, shortly after 8am, a man armed with a handgun robbed a convenience store on Pine Barren Road of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the third incident shortly after 4pm, a woman was at the Soldier Road Industrial Park when a man, armed with a handgun, robbed her of a white 2010 Kia Sorrento vehicle license number 234643 and sped off.

Finally around 9pm, a man was walking on Eneas Jumper Corner, when a man armed with a knife robbed him of a cell phone before fleeing on foot.

Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to contact police at 911 or 919, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 328-TIPS.

Investigations continue.
