POLICE in Abaco are investigating a drowning incident in which a 54-year-old American has died.
Shortly after 7pm on Thursday, police received information that a man, who was snorkelling in waters off Abaco with a group, reportedly began experiencing difficulties.
He was assisted back to the boat and was transported to Abaco to the Marsh Harbour Clinic, where he was announced dead by doctor.
