14 Cuban migrants held

POLICE apprehended 14 Cuban immigrants in Bimini on Thursday.

According to police reports, just after midnight on Thursday, police acting on information found the Cubans on board a white and red vessel moored in the Alice Town area.

There were nine men, two women, two boys and one girl on board. They were all taken into police custody and appeared in good health. They were later handed over to the Immigration authority.

Investigation is continuing in this matter.
