Lightning forces radio stations off air

SEVERE weather affecting Marsh Harbour caused damage to key radio broadcast equipment earlier this month, forcing 100 JAMZ and Y98.7 off the air in Abaco.

Widespread thunder and lightning storms on September 7 and again three days later has left the stations off air for the past week.

Radio House Ltd said yesterday that technicians are working around the clock to address the issues and the company hopes to resume daily broadcasts by Monday.

In the interim, questions or concerns should be directed to 677-0950. Radio House apologises for any inconvenience this outage may have caused.
