THE New Providence Cycling Association held its King of the Hill Cycling Classic for the month of March over the weekend around the western end of the island with Arie Smith carting off the men’s title, while Kaitlyn Williams won the ladies’ crown.

Association president Barron ‘Turbo’ Musgrove said it was a good day for the young cyclists to shine.

“The youths took over this event,” said Musgrove about the competition that came from the Brown United, Team Warriors and the Sea Waves Triathlon Club. We want to thank those clubs that came out and supported this event.

“These are the cyclists of the future, but we want to encourage all of the other cyclists to come out and participate in the other events.

“We will always have competition for the young cyclists and so we encourage you to continue to bring them out.”
