THE Ministry of Health recorded 375 new cases of COVID-19 over a three-day period last week, with cases falling to the double digits for two of those days for the first time this month.
On Thursday, January 20, 222 cases were recorded. On Friday January 21, 84 cases were recorded and 69 cases were recorded on Saturday January 22, the lowest figure so far this month.
According to the latest dashboard, 155 people are in hospital with the virus with 12 of them in the intensive care unit.
Seven hundred and twenty-nine people have died from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
