Mighty Matthew threatens heavy rains, high winds, huge surf and devastating storm surge
Mighty Hurricane Matthew has shrugged off its encounter with a landfall on the southwestern tip of Haiti between 7am and 9am on Tuesday morning, and remains an extremely dangerous Category 4 storm with 140mph winds as it plows north at about 9mph over the eastern tip of Cuba. Now Matthew is set to carve a destructive swath across The Bahamas.
Nassau not protected from the rain

Bahamas-registered domain in $7.5m deal
LONDON-based domian name seller, CentralNic, announced yesterday that it has acquired Bahamian-registered domain name retailer Internet.BS as it moves to enter markets in the Caribbean an Africa. CentralNic will reportedly pay a maximum of $7.5 million for the Bahamas registered business, of which $5.2 million will be paid upfront, comprising $2.7 million in cash with the rest to be satisfied through the issue of CentralNic shares.
Walkabout won't solve the mess
How we solve our problems is a pretence of questionable sense – get five – six ASPs from the police together and do a walk-a-bout downtown, if that reassures anyone - gather four-five ASPs do a walk-about and all is resolved like drinking down Alka Seltzer!
