A 66-YEAR-OLD man was accused on Friday of indecently assaulting a 15-year-old girl earlier this month.
Prosecutors allege Orville Ramdas, of Jamaica, inappropriately rubbed between the girl’s legs on August 2 in New Providence.
Ramdas pleaded not guilty to indecent assault before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.
He was granted $7,000 bail with one or two sureties. Under the terms of his bail, Ramdas must sign in at his local police station every Friday by 7pm.
He was also warned not to interfere with witnesses or risk having his bail revoked.
Ramdas returns for trial on November 25.
