REWARDS totalling up to $52,500 are being offered for information that could help find missing Eleuthera mother and entrepreneur Katrina Kelly as police intensify the search for the missing 34-year-old.
Ms Kelly’s family has offered $2,500 for information that could lead to her safe return, while the Fox Foundation has offered up to $50,000 for information leading to her whereabouts.
Ms Kelly, a mother of two, was last seen and heard from by relatives last Tuesday.
Her 11-year-old daughter reportedly saw her getting into a vehicle outside their Bluff residence between 9pm and 10pm that night.
Her family suspects foul play may be involved and has appealed to the public for information as the search enters another day.
The Tribune understands that a special team of investigators arrived in Eleuthera yesterday along with police canines to assist with efforts to locate Ms Kelly.
In announcing its reward, the Fox Foundation said it was standing with the family and wider Eleuthera community.
“The Fox Foundation believes that community means standing together, looking out for one another and taking action when our neighbours need us most,” the foundation said. “We remain hopeful for answers and continue to stand with Ms Kelly’s family and the Eleuthera community as efforts to locate her continue.”
Ms Kelly owns a rental car business, and relatives said she posted on social media days before her disappearance about problems with customers failing to pay for rental vehicles.
A white Nissan Cube linked to her business is also reportedly missing.
Loretta Cash-Pierre, Ms Kelly’s cousin, previously expressed fears about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
“I’m afraid right now,” Mrs Pierre said. “Eleuthera is supposed to be a safe place where you let your hair down. These kind of things don’t happen in Eleuthera.”
Police in Eleuthera were continuing their search for Ms Kelly last night.
