A MAN was fined $10,000 on Friday after admitting he had nine rounds of ammunition in his Porkfish Drive home last week.
Terrell Cox, 32, reportedly refused to open the door to police when they asked to enter his residence around 2am on May 28.
After police breached the premises, they found eight .300 Blackout rounds and one .45 round in a black bag in the front room.
Cox pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of ammunition before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.
The charges against Cox’s co-accused, Latanya Jean-Jacques, 55, and Dexdria Sands, 30, were withdrawn.
Cox was ordered to pay a total fine of $10,000 or risk 12 months in prison.
Sergeant 2257 Forbes prosecuted the case.
