A WOMAN admitted to stealing more than $153,000 from the Ministry of Education over nearly four years and was granted a conditional discharge.Tossie Pugh, 48, pleaded guilty before Deputy Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville to stealing $153,173.05 from the ministry between August 2021 and January 2025.
Pugh expressed remorse for her actions.
She was granted a conditional discharge but will learn the terms when she returns to court on September 7.
The court deferred setting those conditions while it sought to confirm certain information with the Treasury.
Pugh will remain on release until then.
Inspector Cordero Farrington prosecuted the case.
