A MAN denied breaking into a law firm on 7th Terrace and stealing a large television and money last week.
Prosecutors allege Frederick Farquharson, 30, broke into C Yvette Meredith Law Chambers on 7th Terrace by damaging a deadbolt and lock and stealing $350 in cash and a 40-inch television sometime between 7.30pm on August 27 and 5am on August 28.
Farquharson pleaded not guilty to stealing from a shop and damage before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr. His bail was set at $6,000 with one or two sureties. Under the terms of his bail, Farquharson must be fitted with a monitoring device.He returns for trial on October 16. Sergeant 3004 Forbes prosecuted the case.
