A MAN was accused of stealing a car from Lynden Pindling Estates last month.

Prosecutors allege Deon Green, 28, and accomplices stole a black 2014 Honda Accord belonging to Toryen Russell on August 28.

The vehicle is valued at $10,000.

Green has a similar history, having been accused of a separate car theft in 2024.

He pleaded not guilty to stealing before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.

Green was granted $5,000 bail with one or two sureties and was fitted with a monitoring device as a condition of his release.

He must also sign in at the Fresh Creek Police Station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 6pm.

Green returns for trial on November 20.

Inspector Timothy Bain prosecuted the case.
